There are a variety of other ways that you can get plugged into serving at The Potter's House. Each 1 can have an impact somewhere. Here are some suggestions: 

FIRST IMPRESSIONS

This ministry’s role is to greet others at the door and provide a bulletin,  handout first time visitor gifts and connection cards, and assist in seating and provide direction. Please contact Bro. Andrew or Mrs. April Sexton if you are willing to help minister in this area every Sunday Morning. 

TECHNOLOGY

This ministry serves others through hands on equipment and device use audio and video ministry during services, helping with equipment install and upgrades, and even livestreaming services. Technology is a great asset to our services and other ministries.  There are other avenues to explore also from helping with social media, our church app, and website design and upkeep. Contact Michael Buckingham if you would like to explore serving in this area.

HOSPITALITY

To show others God’s gracious love through the feeding others by: serving and cooking on Wednesday night KidsHouse and VBS, assisting with Church Fellowship Meals, serving Children's Church Snacks. Please contact Chris Devine or Tina Campbell to serve!

SCHOOL OUTREACH

A program designed to support staff and students throughout our schools. We items or gift cards for Back-to-School Fairs. We provide an occasional meal for teachers. We help supply snack packs for students through Family First. And we also help furnish hygiene products for middle school and high school students. Please contact Sheri Henson to get involved. 

CHOIR

There are no auditions required to join the choir. It doesn't not matter your age or ability. The choir practices in Room #153. Check out our Sunday nights practice schedule in the calendar. Gather with us to... 

  • Glorify God through music and reach people for Christ.
  • Be a “family” that prays together.
  • Have a good time singing
  • Minister through cantatas and special events
  • Provide vocal backup for praise team during Sunday worship

SAFETY & SECURITY

This is a group of individuals who’s goal is to keep the church a safe place for allThis is a group of individuals who’s goal is to keep the church a safe place for all. Contact Glenn Gordon to help. 

DISASTER RELIEF

This is a ministry through the Southern Baptist Convention, that travels across the United States to help those in need after a natural disasters. Anyone over 18 can get involved after being trained and certified through Kentucky Baptist Disaster Relief. They serve others through:

  • Chainsaw units
  • Debris removal
  • Cooking
  • First aid
  • Chaplaincy
  • Mud out units.
